The woman behind Calne’s Pocket Park project is set to leave the town this week after playing a major role in creating one of its best-used community spaces.
Residents across Calne have reported a surge in strong odours over the weekend, with some saying the so-called “Calne Smell” is making them feel unwell inside their own homes.
A man has been arrested in Calne following two reported assaults on the same victim. The suspect has been released on conditional bail and is due to appear at court in May, while enquiries continue.
