Repair work has been approved for the Lansdowne Monument near Calne, which has been hidden behind hoardings for more than a decade.
Calne is preparing to welcome visitors from our twin town of Eningen unter Achalm this week.
Volunteers are being invited to roll up their sleeves and help give the iconic Cherhill White Horse its latest freshen-up which will be taking place in May.
