Calne is gearing up for its annual Christmas Festival of Lights this Saturday, 29th November, with a packed afternoon of stalls, entertainment and the much-loved lantern procession set to draw people into the town centre.
An outline planning application has now been submitted for the Penn Hill site in Calne, a year after developers unveiled revised proposals for the controversial housing scheme.
Calne Town Council is urgently calling for volunteers to help at this Saturday’s Christmas Festival of Lights, with several key marshal roles still needing to be filled.
