Dog owners in Calne and across Wiltshire now have a new reason to get tails wagging, with the launch of the Wiltshire Dog Friendly Directory. This free initiative from Wiltshire Council aims to make the county a more welcoming place for dogs and their owners, helping four-legged friends feel at home while out and about.
With fireworks already lighting up the skies over Calne and more to come, local animal charities are urging residents to think of their pets as Bonfire Night approaches.
Bath Cats and Dogs Home is calling on dog lovers to take part in its annual Wag Walk charity challenge on Sunday 28th September, with the aim of raising £8,000 to support the care of rescue animals.
