Ade Stickley, the founder and engineer of Calne's own independent radio station - Eartunes Radio, has resigned with immediate effect, citing a "major snub" by Calne Town Council event organisers.
St. Mary's Church, a Grade 1 listed building and a cornerstone of the Calne community for over 850 years, has announced "Project 2026," a comprehensive renovation plan estimated to cost £650,000.
CALNE Town Council have just announced that the planned talk at the Town Hall on Friday will not be going ahead.
