Churchill Retirement Living has submitted two new planning applications to Wiltshire Council seeking permission to convert additional retail units at Orchard Lodge into retirement apartments.
A public meeting was held at Calne Town Hall on Monday night (October 20) to discuss traffic flow along the A4 - particularly around the High Street junction - and the possibility of removing the pedestrian crossing by Centre News.
Pupils at Kingsbury Green Academy have been learning about dementia as part of a new community initiative to make Calne a more dementia-friendly town.
