CALNE Police were kept busy in the town centre on Saturday 18th November with reports of a small group of young teens behaving badly in Phelps Parade and a shop lifter in Sainsburys store.
THERE was a heavy police presence in Oxford Road on Saturday night (18/11) which lead to the arrest of a drink driver following a RTC.
HAWKFIELD HOMES have said that the collapse of their parent company - Land Promotions Ltd into administration, will not affect their plans for the future of the former Co-op site in Calne. The company that owns the site is very much still trading.
