Wiltshire Council is inviting people from across the county to have their say on its draft Council Plan 2025–2035 by attending one of eight engagement events taking place this summer.
The first event will be held on Tuesday 12th August at Malmesbury Library, with sessions continuing through August and early September in towns across the county. The plan sets out a “bold, community-focused vision” for Wiltshire over the next decade, and the council says it wants to hear from as many residents as possible.
Members of the council’s Cabinet and officers will be available at each event to answer questions and discuss the draft plan in person.
Cllr Ian Thorn, Leader of Wiltshire Council, said: “We’re holding these events at venues around the county because we want to hear directly from the people we serve.
"Whether you agree with our direction or think we should do things differently, your voice matters.
"If you’re a resident, business owner, community group member, or simply care about Wiltshire’s future, this is your opportunity to get involved. Your feedback will help shape the decisions that affect our county, and I’m looking forward to having meaningful conversations with people from all corners of Wiltshire.”
