As Bath Rugby prepares for a historic Gallagher Premiership Final against Leicester Tigers this Saturday at Twickenham, the Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Charity is proudly cheering them on as a key sponsor.
The partnership highlights a shared commitment to teamwork, resilience, and community, as the city rallies behind its team's pursuit of an unprecedented treble.
Bath Rugby is already celebrating victories in the Premiership Rugby Cup and the EPCR Challenge Cup. Now, they stand on the verge of securing their first English title since 1996, a feat that would solidify their place in rugby history.
The Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance boasts a long-standing relationship with the club, with current hooker Tom Dunn and former England international Matt Perry serving as dedicated charity ambassadors.
"We’re incredibly proud of our associations with Bath Rugby, a club that shares our values," said Barbara Gray,
Deputy Chief Executive of the Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance. "Our ambassadors’ support helps us raise awareness and continue delivering lifesaving critical care across Wiltshire and Bath. We wish the team the very best of luck at Twickenham – we’ll be cheering them on every step of the way."
The sponsorship will increase the charity's visibility at Bath Rugby's home ground, The Recreation Ground, helping to raise awareness and vital funds to support its life-saving work. Earlier this week, the charity's Bell 429 helicopter even touched down at the Rec, with the aircrew extending their well wishes to the team.
Cameron Georgel, Business Development Executive at Bath Rugby, echoed the sentiment, stating, "It’s been a real privilege to work with Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance and support the incredible work they do for our region. The charity is an essential part of our community, and we’re proud to have their support as we head into such a special moment in our club’s history."
