Two people have been left in a life-threatening condition following a crash on Corsham Road in Lacock this morning (Tuesday, 21st October).
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 9.30am after a car collided with a minibus taxi near Whitehall Garden Centre.
The driver of the car, a woman in her 50s, and a passenger in the taxi, a woman in her 40s, were both taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The taxi driver was also taken to hospital as a precaution.
Corsham Road remains closed in both directions while police and emergency crews investigate and clear the scene. Motorists are being advised to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
