WILTSHIRE Police are warning motorists of an abnormal load due to be on the roads on Thursday 14th August.
A police spokesperson said: "Please be aware that a significant abnormal load for the A417 Missing Link project will be travelling through Wiltshire tomorrow.
"It is due to leave the M4 Membury Services westbound at 9.30am tomorrow morning and travel to junction 15 for Swindon, and then north onto the A419 and A417 to Birdlip.
"The load is around 4.5m wide and will take up two lanes, travelling at a maximum of 25mph. Due to the nature of the load, it has to move during daylight hours for safety reasons."
Please expect delays and find alternate routes where possible.
