A section of Dakota Drive in Calne will be closed to traffic on Thursday 15th January to allow urgent repair works to take place.
Wiltshire Council has confirmed the temporary closure is required in the interests of public safety so that hand-patching and associated works can be carried out.
The affected section runs from outside number 36 Dakota Drive for approximately 40 metres in an easterly direction.
The closure is scheduled to be in place between 9am and 4pm and is expected to last one day, although the notice allows for a maximum duration of up to five days if required.
An alternative route will be available via Dakota Drive (unaffected sections), Anson Avenue and Dakota Drive, with diversion signs in place.
Access for residents and businesses will be maintained where possible, though delays are likely while work is underway.
