RESIDENTS are being warned to expect disruption this autumn as a key stretch of the A3102 Beversbrook Road is set to close for nearly three weeks to allow for major reconstruction works.

Wiltshire Council has announced that the closure of a section of the A3102 Beversbrook Road between its junction with Oxford Road and its junction with Stanier Road will be in place from Monday, 1st September to Thursday, 19th September 2025.

The closure will allow crews to carry out carriageway reconstruction and other essential associated works to improve the condition and safety of the road.

A formal notice issued by Wiltshire Council advised that a diversion route will be in place throughout the works, directing traffic via Oxford Road and Stanier Road before rejoining the A3102.

“It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions,” the council said.

Access for residents and local businesses will be maintained where possible, but motorists have been warned to expect delays due to the scale and nature of the works. Full details of this notice can be found HERE
