WILTSHIRE Police are warning motorists of an abnormal load due to be on the roads on Monday 12th January.
A mobile home, measuring around 58ft long, 16ft wide and 12ft high, is due to be transported from Grittenham, near Chippenham, from around 9.30am. The load weighs approximately 12 tonnes and will be escorted by roads policing units.
During its journey through the county, the vehicle will travel along an unclassified road in Grittenham before joining School Hill, the B4042 and the A3102, continuing on to the M4 for its onward journey to Lincoln.
Motorists using these routes are warned to expect delays while the convoy passes through and are being encouraged to allow extra time for their journeys, particularly during the morning period.
Police have thanked drivers in advance for their patience while the movement takes place.
