Three people have been charged following the discovery of a cannabis factory in Royal Wootton Bassett.

On Thursday (15/02), officers from the Royal Wootton Bassett neighbourhood policing team, the local policing tasking team and colleagues from the South West Regional Organised Crime Unit conducted a warrant at a property in Eveleigh Road, Royal Wootton Bassett following community intelligence.

A substantial cannabis grow worth around £15,000 was located in the property and seized, and three people at the property were arrested.

Kol Guri, 24, of no fixed abode, Perparim Tzokola, 52, of Dunbar Road, Wood Green, London, and Arlind Xhokola, 25, of no fixed abode, have been charged with cannabis cultivation and criminal damage.

They appeared in Swindon Magistrates Court on Saturday morning (17/02).

Guri and Xhokola were remanded into custody while Tzokola was bailed.

They are next due to appear at Swindon Crown Court on March 15.
