A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent following a stabbing in Chippenham.
Wiltshire Police said officers were called to reports of a teenager with stab injuries in London Road, Chippenham. The injured boy has been taken to hospital, where he is being treated for serious injuries.
Police say that a 16-year-old suspect has been arrested in connection with the incident and remains in custody.
An investigation is ongoing and officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have information to come forward.
Anyone who saw what happened, has CCTV footage, dashcam recordings, or other relevant information is asked to contact Wiltshire Police on 101, quoting log number 189 of 31st January.
