Bronwen James, 29, a former physical education teacher, appeared in Salisbury Magistrates' Court today facing 13 counts of sexual offences against three children.

The Chippenham based teacher is accused of engaging in sexual activity with two girls and one boy over a three-year period.

The charges include six counts of sexual activity with girls under the age of 16, four counts of sexual activity with a boy, two counts of sexual communication with a child, and one count of making an indecent photograph of a child.

Wiltshire Police have confirmed that James previously taught PE at Hardenhuish School in Chippenham and Bitterne Park School in Southampton.

During the court appearance, James only spoke to confirm her name, date of birth, address, and that she understood the proceedings.

She was granted conditional bail. The conditions stipulate that she must not contact the complainants in the case or have unsupervised contact with children under the age of 16.

The case is scheduled to be heard next at Salisbury Crown Court on 7th August.
