A motorist who thought it was ok to drive his car without a bonnet, was stopped near Calne on Sunday (10/3).
The driver was travelling from Corsham to Marlborough without the bonnet, which he lost last week having hit a deer.
A police ARV spotted the battered vehicle near Calne and called a Road Policing Unit to issue the prohibition.
Police say the driver has been reported for driving a vehicle in dangerous condition.
