POLICE have arrested four people on suspicion of aggravated burglary following an incident in Chippenham last night.
Officers responded to a report that two men had forced their way into a house in Chippenham where they threatened the homeowners before leaving in a car.
Officers from the Roads Policing Unit, alongside Armed Response Vehicles, stopped a vehicle on the M4 in Swindon using 'pre-emptive tactics' during the early hours of this morning.
Four men aged 29, 21, 23 and 22 were arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary.
The 22-year-old man was further arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article and possession of Class B drugs.
They are currently in police custody.
