A 27-year-old man from Chippenham, has appeared at Salisbury Magistrates Court on 21st May charged with robbery.
Callum Foster, of Queens Square in Chippenhman, faces charges stemming from an incident on Monday, 20th May.
The charges relate to the alleged theft of a car during a test drive.
Police apprehended Foster and other occupants of the vehicle at Leigh Delemere services, located off the M4 motorway.
Following his appearance at Salisbury Magistrates Court, Foster was remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear before Swindon Crown Court on 18th June.
Police also arrested another man in connection with the incident. This individual has been released on bail while police continue their investigation.
