After a distinguished 15-year career as an Armourer in the Royal Marines, Exeter-born Nick Deasington has taken to the skies—literally.
Now based in the heart of Wiltshire, Nick has launched White Horse Drones, a cutting-edge aerial photography and drone imaging business with a difference.
Nick’s journey has been anything but typical. Following his time in the Royal Marines, he served in anti-piracy operations aboard commercial ships across the globe. In 2015, he and his family settled in Wiltshire, where he took up a post as an Armourer instructor at MOD Lyneham, sharing his technical expertise with the next generation.
But in 2024, driven by a long-held passion for technology and visual storytelling, Nick turned his focus skyward. With the support of Wiltshire Council and local innovation hub The Future Smiths, White Horse Drones was born.
