A Calne-based business has been shortlisted for a national award less than a year after opening.
Body by Design Boutique, founded by Hannah Davidge, has been named a finalist in the Best Home Based Business category of the UK Small Business Awards 2025. The awards celebrate independent businesses across the country.
The boutique, which operates from a home studio in Calne, offers non-surgical body sculpting and wellbeing treatments. Since opening, it has built a growing client base across Wiltshire and beyond, and earlier this year ran a ‘Pay What You Can Afford’ scheme to make its services more accessible. The business has also supported mental health charities including MIND and RABI.
Speaking after being named a finalist, Ms Davidge said:“Not even 12 months in… and I’m honestly pinching myself. To be recognised on a national level, up against so many other incredible businesses, is something I never dreamed would happen this soon. This little home-grown space has turned into something so much bigger than I could have imagined — and it’s all thanks to my amazing clients who’ve trusted me, supported me, and cheered me on every step of the way.”
The winners of the UK Small Business Awards 2025 will be announced in November.
