Black Nova Designs, an IT and website design firm based in Calne, Wiltshire, is proud to announce its sponsorship of the ‘Event Horse of the Year’ category at the 2024 Horse & Hound Awards for the second consecutive year.

The awards are hosted by Horse & Hound, the renowned weekly British equestrian magazine, and celebrate outstanding contributions and achievements within the equestrian industry.

The Horse & Hound Awards were first founded nine years ago and have become an iconic annual event. This year, the awards ceremony return to Dallas Burston Polo Club in Warwickshire for a glittering ceremony in November.

Sponsoring the Event Horse of the Year category is particularly significant for Black Nova Designs, with the company’s strong reputation in the countryside and equestrian community. Last year, the title was awarded to Ros Canter’s gelding Lordships Graffalo, following his triumph at the Badminton Horse Trials and European Championships. With a win at last weekend’s Burghley Horse Trials and a team gold meal in Paris, there’s a
chance ‘Walter’, as he’s known at home, could win the award for the second year in a row.

Danielle Holmes, Sales and Marketing Director at Black Nova Designs commented: "It’s an honour to continue supporting the Horse & Hound.

"Event horses are the heart and soul of this sport, showing incredible bravery and amazing versatility, and I
can’t wait to see which horse is crowned the winner in November."

Fans and equestrians alike are encouraged to participate by voting for their favourite event horse via the voting platform, which is open until 5pm on Thursday the 19th September.

The shortlist of nominees will be unveiled in the Horse & Hound issue on sale 17th October, followed by another round of voting to determine the overall winner. The final announcement will be made during the award ceremony in November.
