Two men, aged 46 and 35, have been arrested in connection with a burglary at Boots in Royal Wootton Bassett High Street.

The incident occurred early this morning, 23rd April 2025, at around 2:50 am, when the men broke into the store and stole a quantity of products.

Following a report of suspicious activity in Walcot, officers tracked the suspects' vehicle, a blue Nissan Juke, to Somerville Road. The vehicle failed to stop for police and the suspects abandoned it outside Goddard Park School, throwing a bag of items, including OLAY hair products believed to be from Boots, over a fence.

The men were tracked by Police Dog Brie to a property in Shaftesbury Avenue, where they were arrested on suspicion of burglary. The 46-year-old suspect faces additional charges, including dangerous driving, failing to stop for the police, theft of a motor vehicle, drug driving, and driving while disqualified.

Both men remain in custody for questioning.
