Joseph. Tong is an accomplished soloist, having performed both concertos and recital programmes at home and around the world. He is keenly interested in the piano music of Sibelius and regularly tours Finland at many musical centres including the composer’s own home, Ainola. He often plays with his brother Daniel, our own much loved Artistic Director. Daniel is the Director of the Birmingham International Piano Chamber Music Festival as well as being Head of Piano in Chamber Music at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. He is also a founder member of the London Bridge Trio. Joseph and Daniel will be playing both solo and piano duo music works by Schubert, Faure and Debussy.
