The Calne Community Quilt, hanging in the Heritage Centre, was one of the community projects organised in 2024 to celebrate the 250th anniversary of Joseph Priestley’s discovery of Oxygen whilst he was living in Calne.  
This project was completed within 6 months and involved over 100 people in the Calne community.
