Wiltshire Air Ambulance will host a Charity Golf Day at the luxurious Bowood Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort on Thursday 30 May 2024.

The event will be hosted on the prestigious PGA Championship Golf Course at Bowood at Derry Hill, Calne. Bowood’s beautifully manicured course blends perfectly with the wooded and undulating countryside, with unrivalled views towards the Wiltshire Downs. The course opened in 1992 and is the Official PGA Course and Golf Academy for the South West. The Charity Golf Day represents an excellent opportunity to meet and establish new and lasting relationships with businesses and individuals that all have a common interest – golf and supporting the lifesaving work of Wiltshire Air Ambulance. The charity’s events coordinator Beth Knights said: “When it comes to golf in Wiltshire, Bowood Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort is one of the jewels in the crown. “We’re very proud to be hosting our 2024 Charity Golf Day at Bowood and it will be a great opportunity for individuals and businesses to support our lifesaving charity and enjoy a fantastic day of golf at the same time.” The competition will be played in Stableford format from the yellow tees, with two scores counting per hole for each team of four. There will be prizes for the top three teams, as well as Longest Drive, Closest To The Pin and Beat The Pro competitions. Competitors will enjoy breakfast on arrival (registration from 9.30am) before having exclusive use of the PGA Academy 3-hole Course, Driving Range facility (golf balls included) and changing room facilities. The competition will start at 11am as a shotgun start. Afterwards there will be a two-course hot fork buffet to enjoy back at Bowood’s stunning Kerry Suite, where presentations will be made to the winners. Entry per team costs £700, but as a special early bird offer purchase before 31 December 2023 to secure a four-ball team for just £600 (£150pp).
