Calne is in for a treat this spring as The Piggy Bank hosts another night of top-notch comedy on Tuesday 14th April.
Headlining the show is Jay Handley, a former sculptor of fine oak furniture who swapped chisels for punchlines. While the career change may have been “financially catastrophic,” it’s certainly been a creative triumph. Jay has performed at some of the UK’s best comedy venues, including The Glee Club, Jongleurs, The Stand, The Comedy Store, and Baby Blue, delivering a mix of observational, anecdotal, and confessional humour that keeps audiences in stitches.

Joining him is Scottish comedian Stephen Carlin, celebrated for his sharp writing and unpredictable delivery. His enigmatic style and off-the-wall references make every performance a unique experience. Ryan Lewis, known for his award-winning, over-the-top storytelling, completes the lineup.
Hosting the night is Ross Smith, a rising star in the UK comedy scene. With his quick wit, self-deprecating humour, and easy charm, he ensures the show flows seamlessly from start to finish.
Doors open at 7pm, with the show starting at 8pm. Tickets are available through the Crazy Bird Comedy Club.
Acts are subject to change, but one thing is guaranteed: a night of laughter to welcome the new season in style.
