Get ready for an evening of glitz, glamour and giving as Calne Lions invites you to join them at their Charity Ball, raising funds for Julia's House.

The Julia's House Ball promises to be an evening of sophistication and charitable spirit. It is being held at DoubleTree by Hilton in Swindon on Saturday, 17th February at 7pm.

Those attending will be greeted with welcome drinks and a three course dinner which is included in the ticket price. There will be dancing, a raffle and auctions with a host of fabulous prizes on offer and other fundraising activities.

Tickets cost £50 per person and can be bought individually or if your company would like to support the event (and the Charity) company tables of 10 can be made up. The deadline for buying tickets is 15th January so don't delay book today for this black tie event.

Calne Lions say: "Julia’s House is the only Children’s Hospice based in Wiltshire, with a centre in Devizes. They support children with life-limiting or life-shortening conditions and their families. The charity tailor their service to best meet each family’s specific needs and it is offered completely free of charge.

"With only 4% of their annual £2.2million running costs being provided by the Government, they rely on the generosity of the public to keep going each year. Calne Lions are determined to raise money for the charity by hosting a Ball in their name."

DoubleTree by Hilton have pledged 10% of the bar sales from the ballroom bar, on the night, will also go directly to Julia’s House.

Calne Community Transport have generously offered 60 spaces in their vehicles to transport guests to and from the Ball. The cost is just £10 with all profits once again going to Julia's House.  If you would like to book a place on one of their minibuses, then please contact Calne Community Transport directly on 07493 055788 referencing the Ball.
