Jane Austen brought to life in CALNE!
The award-winning Illyria Outdoor Theatre is set to visit Calne Pocket Park with a hilarious adaptation of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice this summer.
“Illyria has performed top-notch outdoor theatre for more than thirty years and we’re delighted to visit Calne again this year.” said Artistic Director Oliver Gray.
Calne Pocket Park are pleased to welcome Illyria again after the hugely successful, sell-out performance of Midsummer Night’s Dream last year. Enjoying entertainment outdoors is the perfect way to relax and have fun with friends and family.” said John Boaler, chair of the Pocket Park.
John continued, “This performance promises to be a whirlwind of romance, dancing and comedy brought to life by Illyria.”
All the ingredients for a fantastic evening. The play will be at The Pocket Park on Wednesday 30th August at 7pm "Doors" open at 6pm with the Pop Up cafe serving refreshments but feel free to bring a picnic. Some chairs available but if possible bring your own seating.
