Wiltshire Council is celebrating the achievements of students across the county today (14 August) as secondary schools and colleges opened early for A Level and Vocational Technical Qualification (VTQ) results day.
Young people are receiving their results, marking the milestone of years of dedication and study as they prepare to take their next steps into higher education, apprenticeships, or employment.
Cllr Jon Hubbard, Cabinet Member for Children's Services, Education and Skills, said: “Today is a proud moment for Wiltshire's young people. These results reflect years of hard work, commitment, and resilience, and I want to offer my heartfelt congratulations to every student receiving their grades today.
“We understand that results day can sometimes be a stressful experience, and it's important to take a moment to reflect on how far you've come. Remember, there are many different paths to success. Whether you're heading to university, starting an apprenticeship, or exploring other opportunities, we are here to support you in finding the right next step.
“I'd also like to thank the dedicated teachers, school staff, and families who have supported our young people throughout their educational journey. Their encouragement, guidance, and care have played a vital role in helping students reach this important milestone.”
