Two Sixth Form students at Kingsbury Green Academy are celebrating after receiving offers to study at the University of Cambridge.

Susannah has been offered a place to study Architecture, a course that perfectly complements her passion for heritage and conservation.

She said Cambridge felt like a natural choice, adding that the university’s historic environment and discussions with academic staff during her visit helped confirm her decision.

Rory has received an offer to study Mathematics, a subject he says he has loved for many years. He described Cambridge’s global reputation for mathematics as a major influence on his application.

“I’ve always enjoyed solving and understanding problems,” he said. “Cambridge has an incredible history of producing mathematicians, and it’s been a long-standing ambition of mine to study there.”

Liam Collins, Head of Sixth Form at Kingsbury Green Academy, said staff were extremely proud of both students and praised their commitment and enthusiasm for learning.

He added that their success reflects not only strong academic ability but also the passion and determination they show in their studies, describing them as positive role models within the school community.

The school has congratulated both students as they prepare for the next stage of their education.
