Are you interested in making a positive difference in your local community as a Parish, Town, or Unitary Councillor?
The NALC "Make A Change" and LGA "Be A Councillor" will be holding a short online lunchtime event which aims to encourage people to run for local (parish or town) and principal authority (unitary) council seats in the May 2025 local elections.
People from all backgrounds and experiences, who would reflect the communities they serve, are needed to put themselves forward for election.
Experts in the field, who have become brilliant local councillors at various local government levels will be speaking at the event providing a valuable opportunity to learn about the work and role of local councillors in the community and answer your questions about standing for election as a local councillor in May 2025.
The event takes place on Monday 13th November from 12pm to 1.15pm. You can sign up to attend the event here.
