TWO motorcylists and a car driver were caught by Wiltshire Police racing on the A4 on Saturday as crowds of biking enthusiasts descended upon the town for the annual Calne Bike Meet.

unmarkedOfficers in an unmarked BMW caught the two motorbikes and car racing on the stretch of A4 from Cherhill to Calne.
All three have been reported to court for driving offences.


A police spokesperson tweeted:
"#RPU have stopped two riders and a driver who decided it was a good idea to have a race along the A4 from Cherhill into
Calne. They didn't bet on our unmarked car being present.
