Calne Police are warning residents to be extra vigilant after a spate of thefts over the weekend.
Between 3pm on Friday 13th February and 7.45am on Saturday 14th February, tools were stolen from a vehicle on School Road. Among the items taken were a Radiodetection RD8000, a Radiodetection TX10, a Dewalt drill, and a STIHL HS82RRC hedge trimmer, along with an engine.
Over the same weekend, a push bike was reported stolen from a shed on King Edward Close, and a garage on Elm Close was broken into.
Police are asking anyone who saw anything suspicious, or who has CCTV or doorbell footage, to get in touch at
Patrols in Calne and nearby areas will be increased in response to these incidents. Residents are reminded to lock doors, secure garages, and avoid leaving valuable items in vehicles.
