A PLANNED fight between youths from Calne and Chippenham has lead to Wiltshire Police contacting parents and guardians, encouraging them to be aware of their child's whereabouts this weekend.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson has said there will be officers present in the area to monitor and respond to any incidents and they are warning that anyone found to be involved in or inciting violence will be 'dealt with robustly'.
In a letter sent out this afternoon they added: "We strongly encourage parents and guardians to be vigilant about their children's whereabouts and activities this weekend.
"Our aim is to prevent any harm and maintain a safe environment for everyone in our towns."
