CALNE residents are being warned not to leave anything in their vehicles when parked up, following a spate of overnight thefts .

Police say they have received three reports this morning (19/10) of vehicle break-ins.

In Hillier Crescent a vehicle was broken into and a suitcase containing clothing was stolen. Thieves also struck at Lawrence Drive where a vehicle parked on the driveway had tools removed and on Abberd Way another vehicle was broken into - the suspect was seen to check all around the property too.

Police are asking anyone who has information or CCTV or doorbell footage to contact them on 101 quoting crime reference numbers 5423011778 - 5423011772 - 54230110769 respectively.

Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Patrols will be increased in these and other areas in Calne in light of these reports. Please report any suspicious activity on 101 or 999 if appropriate.
