A brand-new Post Office will be opening at the SPAR Store in James Avenue, Calne, next month.
The new branch will offer customers a wide range of Post Office services, from posting letters and parcels to collecting and returning online shopping items.
It will be opening in the SPAR store in James Avenue which is in the new housing estate off Spitfire Way in Calne.
Customers can also take advantage of a wide range of banking services including cash withdrawals and balance enquiries for customers of all the main UK banks.
The opening of the new branch in James Avenue will be the third Post Office in Calne, joining branches at The Pippin and Quemerford - bringing vital services to the area.
The new Post Office services will be available seven days a week: Monday – Sunday: 7am- 10pm. This will offer customers 105 hours of Post Office service a week .
Bosses say the service will be one of their local style branches with a low-screened, open-plan Post Office service point carefully integrated into the retail counter.
Antoinette Chitty, Post Office Network Provision Lead, said: “We want to make it as easy as possible for customers to pay their bills, withdraw cash from their bank accounts, and send and collect their mail at a time and place that suits them best. We know how important our services are to customers, and are confident that this brand new Post Office alongside the other branches in the area at Calne and Quemerford will ensure that people in this area of Calne have easy access to our services.”
