A yellow warning for heavy rain has been issued by the Met Office from tonight (12/10).
Occasionally heavy rain will reach southwest Britain Thursday evening, then spread across much of England and Wales on Friday.
The warning covers the Calne area and is in place from 9pm tonight to midnight on Friday 13th October.
Forecasters say the heavy rains will bring localised flooding with a risk to homes and businesses. Roads are likely to become flooded too, making journey times longer. Bus and train services may also be disrupted.
