Students and instructors at Leadership Martial Arts are showing their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month by taking part in the nationwide Pink Belts for Breast Cancer campaign.

Throughout October, members are swapping their usual belts for bright pink ones as they sell and wear the special edition belts to raise funds and awareness for Breast Cancer Now.

Each belt costs £8, with every penny donated to the charity, and they are available in a range of sizes to suit all ages and grades.

The initiative unites martial arts clubs across the UK in a shared effort to support life-changing research and those affected by breast cancer.

LMA are well on course to raise their target of £1000 for the charity - having already raised £535 in just their first week.

“It’s time for our community to stand together, fight back, and show our support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month!” said Leadership Martial Arts Instructor Master Butler. “Every belt is more than just a symbol, it’s a statement of unity, strength and compassion.

"Whether you’re training, teaching or cheering from the sidelines, wear your pink belt with pride till our next grading and impact together!"

Students will wear their pink belts throughout the month during training sessions and events, creating a colourful show of solidarity for a cause that touches so many lives.
