Calne Royal British Legion and Calne Town Council will be holding the town’s Festival of Remembrance Parade and Church Service on Sunday, 9th November 2025.
The parade will assemble in Phelps Parade from 9am, moving off at around 9.35am to begin its traditional march through the town centre towards St Mary’s Church for the service.
The procession will march onto The Square at approximately 9.40am, continuing along Curzon Street, turning left at Thomas’s Roundabout, and proceeding down Curzon Street to the crossroads at Church Street and Coxhill. From there, it will turn left onto Church Street, halting outside St Mary’s Church for the remembrance service and wreath-laying.
Following the service, expected to finish around 11.40am, the parade will reform and march back down Church Street towards Coxhill and Curzon Street, before continuing along Patford Street and finishing near the rear of the Town Hall car park, opposite Patford House Surgery, at around 12.25pm.
This year’s parade will again include local veterans, community groups, and youth organisations, marching together in remembrance of those who served.
