A brand-new event is coming to Calne this October, as Eartunes Radio and The Rise Trust team up to throw their first-ever Halloween Disco for local teenagers.
The party will take over Calne Town Hall on Friday 31st October, offering a safe and fun night out filled with music, dancing and spooky surprises. Entry costs just £3 per person, which includes a free glow stick, and The Rise Youth Team will also run a tuck shop on the night. All money raised will go directly to The Rise Trust to support youth services in the town.
The disco marks the start of a growing partnership between Eartunes and The Rise Trust. Earlier this month, they launched a lively weekly youth radio show hosted by Nicky and Jade from The Rise Trust, giving teenagers across Wiltshire a dedicated space on the airwaves. Now they’re bringing that same energy to the dance floor.
Chloe Wilson-Ash, Youth Engagement Officer at Eartunes Radio, said the event was all about giving young people something new: “We are really looking forward to working with The Rise Trust to deliver this exciting event for the teenagers of Calne and give them a safe place to party. If it’s a success, we’ll be looking at hosting more discos throughout 2026, including Valentine’s, Easter and summer events.”
Station Manager Chris Wilson-Ash added that the collaboration has real potential: “The Rise Trust work really hard to engage with and support the youth of our town and we’re proud to bring the first of many discos to Calne. A few years back Wiltshire Police ran the Bluz and Zuz nights, which were hugely popular - and we hope these new events will be just as big with today’s young people.”
With more themed discos already being planned for next year, this Halloween party could be the start of a brand-new tradition for Calne’s teenagers.
