A man from Calne has been given a 15-month suspended prison sentence after changing his plea to guilty to sex offences.

Luke Frewin, 27, of Ebor Paddock in Calne was caught with a collection of child and animal abuse images - 750 indecent images of children with 239 involving penetration and 57 images involving sexual activity with animals.


Frewin had pleaded not guilty to the charges, but on the 3rd of December, when he was due before Swindon Crown Court on the 14th December he changed his plea to guilty.


He was sentenced to a 15-month prison sentenced, suspended for two years and must complete 60 rehabilitation days. He was also ordered to register as a sex offender for 10 years. Judges also imposed a Sexual Harm Prevention Order to run alongside his sentence.
