ICELAND has confirmed that the Calne store will cease to offer a home delivery service for customers at the end of this month.
Currently, shoppers have the option to shop instore or online and book a home delivery for their goods. However, from 29th June this will no longer be an option.
Last year the frozen food giants hit the headlines as they announced a list of stores they intended to close after a reported 'decline in business'. However, there have been no announcements made on any such decision in relation to the Calne store.
A spokesperson for Iceland told us: "We can confirm that from Saturday 29th June 2024, Iceland’s Calne store situated in Phelps Parade, will be discontinuing its home delivery service for customers.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but want to assure shoppers that our Chippenham Iceland store, located at 44-45 Market Pl just 7 miles away, will provide home delivery services for affected Calne customers moving forward."
