Officers investigating a collision in which a driver failed to stop at the scene are appealing for information.

At approximately 8.10pm on February 1, a man in his 50s was cycling along Pickwick Road in Corsham from the direction of Melksham when he turned right at the roundabout into Newlands Road, however, the driver of a white van failed to give way and a collision occurred.

The driver initially stopped but left the scene when it became apparent police were attending and failed to provide details.

The cyclist sustained injuries to his hand, hip and leg and attended the Royal United Hospital for treatment.

We are keen to identify the driver of the white van pictured.
