There have been reports of large swarms of honey bees spotted across Wiltshire and the West.

honeybee for swarmThe Wiltshire Beekeepers Association say that the unusually high temperatures we enjoyed in February confused the bees leaving the hive to search for a location to start a new colony.

Although it is normal to see swarming honey bees at this time of year, the unseasonably high temperatures earlier in the year can alter the numbers.
