At last - the beer you can drink whilst feeling charitable at the same time....!
The Coronavirus pandemic has had it's impact on everyone, one charity really feeling the effect is Bath Cats And Dogs Home. All public-facing fundraising events this year have been understandably postponed and with the charity shops closed for much of the year the funds are low.
Now a Bath based craft beer company have come up with a way to raise funds whilst treating ourselves to a beer!
The Electric Bear Brewing Company are launching cute cans of "Furever Home" ale to support rescue pets in need.
Each can features an animal that's been helped by Bath Cats and Dogs Home. With 30p from each can sold will be donated to the charity to help them continue their essential work rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming animals in desperate need.
The brainchild was brewed up by Laurie Ketchen from Electric Bear who had his life changed for the better when he adopted his rescue cat, Simon from Bath Cats and Dogs Home.
Laurie said: "Simon has brought such joy to my life. When I heard that lockdown has had such a negative effect on the home's fundraising ventures I was inspired to help in any way I could. And of course on top if that, who doesn't love a cute cat on a can".
If you would like to buy some "Furever Home" just "hop" over to
