The hottest festival in the Calne area, Goatfest returns for its fifth year next week at Goatacre Cricket Ground, promising two days of music, beer and food.
This increasingly popular family festival showcases the best of local music talent alongside noted acts from further afield, in an eclectic line up on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th September.
On Friday evening listen to music from local band Burbank, popular rock act Lake Acacia and folk singer Joe Johnson amongst others, whilst the Saturday line up includes Sugar Motown with her classic Motown and disco hits, Clark and the Kryptonites with their brand of groove, funk, soul and Rock, Young Vintage with a unique take on modern/chart songs, with Calne's own The Ukey Dukes, the UK's top original rocking ukulele band headlining.
With a choice of 20 Ales and Ciders, a Pimms,Prosecco,Gin Bar and a wonderful range of fine catering available, no-one should go hungry or thirsty.
Various interesting side stalls and Reads Fun Fair will also be helping to create the vibrant environment over the two days.
As well as raising funds for Goatacre Cricket Club, the festival is also supporting Wiltshire Air Ambulance and Breast Cancer Care as their chosen charities for 2019.
