WITH lockdown laws easing again today, Calne Town Council are reminding residents that you can park for free for two hours in town.
From today, non-essential retail, hospitality businesses, hairdressers, barbers and nail bars are re-opening and now more than ever, it is important to support our independent businesses as they reopen their doors.
Calne Town Council fund two hours free parking at the Heritage Quarter Car Park which can be accessed off the A4, just past the Calne Town Hall.
You must display a ticket from the machineto take advantage of the free two hour parking scheme.
Meanwhile, the Calne Visitor and Information Centre has reopened with reduced opening hours to the public.
The office will be open Monday to Friday, from 10am to 1pm (Closed Bank Holidays). When entering the building you must wear a face covering, hand sanitiser is available at the entrance and follow all safety signage and floor markers to observe social distancing.
Only two visitors are allowed into the office at one time.
Calne Library has also reopened today for browsing and bookable computers. The reservation service has been re-introduced.
