CALNE Police have issued a warning to residents following two burglaries in the last week.
Both burglaries were in the Curzon Park area of Calne. Two homes were broken into and items taken.
PCSO Mark Cook said: “Although, incidents of this nature are rare in Calne, it does happen, and we are urging anyone with elderly parents or relatives to be vigilant of their home security at this time of year, and to be mindful in regards to anyone paying them or their properties unwanted attention.
"We are currently working with the involved parties to ensure their security measures are improved. We have also been patrolling the location and informing other residents of these incidents. We will also be keeping a watchful eye in the future.
"We are also asking members of the community to report anyone they see behaving in a suspicious nature on 101 or 999, if a crime is in progress. If you are able to take note of vehicle registrations, number of persons and descriptions these would be of great assistance to us in trying to identify persons involved.”
